Jr. Panthers Stay on the Attack in 5-1 Victory Over Cape Cod Selects

Foxboro, Mass. — Jr. Panthers found the back of the net in all three periods on their way to a 5-1 victory over Cape Cod Selects on Friday evening. After scoring twice in the opening frame, Jr. Panthers continued to add to their total over the final two periods to earn the win.

GAME HIGHLIGHTS:

Elisha Caplan opened the scoring at the 5:35 mark of the first period, finishing a play set up by Grace Trombley to give Jr. Panthers an early lead.

Later in the period, Gabi Young doubled the advantage with a goal at 14:35. Talia Engel was credited with the assist as Jr. Panthers took a 2-0 lead into the intermission.

The scoring resumed in the second period when Taylor Stoll found the back of the net at the 7:00 mark, making it 3-0.

Jr. Panthers added two more goals in the third period. Emma Dedobbelaer scored just 1:42 into the frame off an assist from Gabi Young, and Young later recorded her second goal of the game at 8:19 with Lily Pratt picking up the assist.

Cape Cod Selects broke through late when Leah Eichorn scored at the 14:30 mark of the third period.

Jr. Panthers finished with goals in every period and skated away with the 5-1 victory.
