Foxboro, Mass. — North American Elite 16U scored once in the first period and added two more in the second to earn a 3-0 victory over Hallzy Films Pink on Saturday afternoon.
GAME HIGHLIGHTS:
North American Elite 16U got on the board early in the opening period when Peyton Insogna scored at 3:46. Liv Esposito and Elsa Xi were credited with assists on the goal.
The game remained a one-goal contest until midway through the second period. At 9:05, Caroline Warrington found the back of the net to double the lead, with Kylie Clancy recording the assist.
North American Elite added another goal late in the frame. Clancy scored at 16:16, while Warrington picked up her second point of the afternoon with an assist on the play.
Hallzy Films Pink continued to compete throughout the remainder of the contest, but North American Elite 16U kept the shutout intact and skated away with the 3-0 win.
