FOXBORO – The U19 College Prospects division has seen some tight competition through the first two days of the 2025 Women’s Chowder Cup, as was the case on Saturday when the Arctic Penguins and WC Swans (White) met on the ice at the Foxboro Sports Center. The Penguins coming away with a narrow 2-1 victory.
Scoring began in the second as Arctic netminder Avery Olson and Swans counterpart Regan Schank had things on lockdown through the opening 15 minutes of the contest.
The game’s first lead went to the Swans, courtesy of a Lucey Jean goal at 12:07 of the second, but the Penguins potted a pair in the third to steal the victory.
Brooke Harb notched the equalizer and Lauren Dockray put away the game-winner for the Penguins at 9:10 of the third period.
