Foxboro, Mass. — TeamONE 19U scored three times in the opening period and never looked back, defeating Cape Cod Selects 3-0 on Sunday morning.

TeamONE 19U wasted little time getting on the board. Maggie Berleth opened the scoring at 4:08 to give TeamONE an early 1-0 lead.
Just under three minutes later, Emma Doucette doubled the advantage with a goal at 7:05, making it 2-0.
TeamONE continued to press and added another before the end of the period. Maggie Berleth scored her second goal of the game at 21:42, extending the lead to 3-0 heading into the intermission.
Neither side was able to find the back of the net for the remainder of the contest, as TeamONE 19U carried its first-period advantage through the final buzzer.
The shutout victory secured a strong start to the day for TeamONE 19U, with three different scoring plays providing all the offense needed in the 3-0 win.
