Foxboro, Mass. — WC Swans Gold 2010 scored twice late in the opening period and held off a second-period push from Hallzy Films Blue to earn a 2-1 victory on Saturday afternoon.

WC Swans Gold 2010 broke through late in the first period when Ari Papageorgiou opened the scoring at 11:37. Izzy Cassady and Cayley Donovan collected assists on the play.
The Swans added to their lead less than a minute later. Gracie Porter capitalized on a power-play opportunity at 12:33, finishing a setup from Cassady and Olivia Heger to make it 2-0 heading into the intermission.
Hallzy Films Blue responded in the second period and cut the deficit in half. With 1:10 remaining in the frame, Caitlin O’Neill scored off an assist from Katie Walker to bring Hallzy within one.
That would be as close as Hallzy Films Blue would get, however, as WC Swans Gold 2010 held firm defensively over the final minutes to secure the 2-1 win.
