Foxboro, Mass. — WC Swans OGs received a two-goal performance from Teagan Beigel and scored in all three periods to earn a 3-1 victory over Hallzy Films 19U on Saturday afternoon.
GAME HIGHLIGHTS:
WC Swans OGs grabbed the early advantage in the first period when Teagan Beigel opened the scoring at 7:34 off an assist from Courtney Shifrin, giving her team a 1-0 lead heading into the intermission.
Hallzy Films 19U answered midway through the second period. At 7:18, Talia Martucci found the back of the net with Amelia Specer picking up the assist, evening the score at 1-1.
The tie lasted just over three minutes before WC Swans OGs reclaimed the lead. Beigel struck again at 10:29, recording her second goal of the game and sending WC Swans OGs into the third period with a 2-1 advantage.
WC Swans OGs added insurance in the final frame when Erin McGrath scored at 6:12 off a feed from Penny Saich, extending the lead to 3-1.
Hallzy Films 19U was unable to generate another equalizer, and WC Swans OGs skated away with the victory.
