FOXBORO – New England Pro-Am Hockey’s Women’s Chowder Cup made its return to the ice Friday. The first win listed at the 2025 edition of the tournament went to Gotta Hockey, who defeated Bearcats U19 (Green) 4-1 in U19 College Prospects division play at the Foxboro Sports Center.
Gotta Hockey got the tournament going by dropping a pair in the first. Kennedy Gregoire and Nicole Kerkela each credited in the score.
The Bearcats got in on the scoring in the second with a goal from Edith Hayes, but Haye’s score came sandwiched between another pair of Gott Hockey goals. Skyee Gonzalez and Abby Kasal credited with the Gotta Hockey scores in the second to secure the 4-1 victory.
Gonzalez finished as the game’s only multipoint scorer with a goal and an assist, while goaltender Emily Fuchs was credited with the win in the Gotta Hockey net.
