FOXBORO – MOLE HC made a fine finish to their U19 preliminary slate at the 2023 Women’s Chowder Cup on Saturday afternoon. They defeated the Cape Cod Kraken 5-0 at the Foxboro Sports Center.
The strong finish was highlighted by a hot start for MOLE, as they ran out to a 3-0 first period lead that carried the victory. Zoe Galanoudis started the scoring for MOLE in the opening frame, followed by a pair from Jamiyah Alexander for the cushioned lead at the first intermission.
Sadie Panaro scored in the second and Charlotte Labre scored in the third to round out the MOLE scoring. Brigid Milligan anchored the victory in the MOLE net with her first shutout of the tournament.
