CANTON – It was two a side for Swanologies and MOLE HC on Friday evening at the Canton Ice House. The teams playing to a 2-2 tie in U19 division play at the 2023 Women’s Chowder Cup.
The game was tight through the first two periods, an Olivia Cohen goal for Swanologies the only tally finding its way on to the scoresheet through the first 40 minutes. Swanologies goaltender Tess Bassett and MOLE’s Brigid Milligan doing the work in their respective goal nets.
Swanologies upped their advantage to 2-0 in the third on a Maggie Connors goal. The insurance goal, however, was not enough as the MOLE offense struck twice less than a minute apart late in the third to draw things back to even. Ava Iantosca and Sadie Panaro each with a goal to knot things up at its 2-2 final.
