FOXBORO – WC Swans Gold kicked off their U19 slate at the 2023 Women’s Chowder Cup with an authoritative 6-0 win over the Tropics on Friday evening at the Foxboro Sports Center.
Two, two and two was the goal count for the Swans as they rung up a pair in each of the game’s frames. Mckenzie Cerrato and Sasha Jacobson in the first, Kaci Ryder and Aislinn Bennet in the second, then Cerrato and Jacobson again in the third to solidify the 6-0 romp.
Cerrato had a day, putting up three assists to go with her two goals for a game-high five points. Becca White also contributed three assists in the Swans offensive effort.
Mia Gonsalves thwarted everything from the Tropics’ offense from the Swans net.
