Outlaws win big, 9-2.

FOXBORO – It was a strong U14 division showing for the Atlantic Ice Outlaws when they met the Ice Dragons on Saturday morning at the Foxboro Sports Center. The Outlaws ran away with a 9-2 win.

Atlantic did not waste the moment, attempting to put the game away early by putting away four goals in the frame, while netminder Jennifer Murphy kept everything out of her net. Anna Seymour, Ava Seymour, Sophie Urguhart and Kate Sullivan did the scoring to make things 4-0 at the first break.

The Dragons got two of their own in the second – goals by Ammi Stone and Alexia Drouin – but there was still plenty more to be had for the Outlaws attack. They bettered their goal total from the first by one, putting away five more in the second to round out the 9-2 victory.

In total, five Outlaws were credited with multiple entries on the scoresheet in the contest. Urguhart (4G) led the way with four points, followed by Anna Seymour (3G), Ava Seymour (1G, 2A), Avery Strong (2A) and Leah Quinlan (2A).
