CANTON – The second day of pool play at the 2023 Women’s Chowder Cup got underway on Saturday morning. Swanologies got things kicked off at the Canton Ice House with a 4-1, U19 division win over SHC.
Much of the game’s offense came in the second as it was just a 1-0 lead through one for Swanologies, courtesy of a Kylie Beers goal.
Things got going in the second as Swanologies put a way three more to amass an insurmountable lead. Beers struck again, as did Ava England and Jenny Baldwin.
SHC found the scoring column late in the frame with an Amy Tansek goal that brough the score to its 4-1 conclusion.
