CANTON – Team Boston kicked off the day’s schedule at the Canton Ice House with a win on Friday, topping the Lady Eels at the 2022 Women’s Chowder Cup.
Lily Vaughan got the scoring started in the game’s first half, putting one on the board to put Boston ahead 1-0.
The Eels were on the board with an Addison Taylart goal in the second half, but Boston notched a pair more in the later frame to solidify their victory. Natalie Hodgson and Luisa Ferrari credited with the scores.
Rebecca Melanson was credit with the win in net, while Irene Mandile ended as the game’s leading scorer, putting up a pair of assists.
