FOXBORO – After kicking off the 2023 Women’s Chowder Cup with a 3-1 win on Friday morning, TeamONE U16 made it two wins in two games on Friday afternoon when they defeated the Adirondack 46’s 3-0 at the Foxboro Sports Center.
The deficit was a manageable one for the 46er’s through one as the teams went to the break 1-0, TeamONE with the advantage thanks to a Lindsey Pontillo goal.
Out of the break, there was not much more scoring to be had thanks to goaltenders Callie Corraro for TeamONE and the 46er’s Kori Lynne Lamoy, but TeamONE was able to breakthrough for some extra insurance, getting goals from Cami London and Brighton McMan.
Corraro posted her second win of the tournament in the TeamONE net, this one a shutout.
