FOXBORO – The Atlantic Ice Outlaws opened their U14 divisional slate at the 2023 Women’s Chowder Cup with a strong 8-0 win over the WC Swans on Friday morning at the Foxboro Sports Center.
It started early for the Outlaws with an offense that just kept coming as it amassed a 5-0 lead through the opening frame. Sophie Urguhart netted a pair, while a goal apiece came from Ava Willcott, Kate Sullivan and Leah Quinlan.
Urguhart completed her hat trick in the second, while Willcott got a second and Ava Seymour rounded out the 8-0 final with her score. Netminder Jennifer Murphy went the distance in the Outlaws net, posting the first shutout of the tournament.
