FOXBORO – TeamONE U14 made a statement in their opening game of the 2023 Women’s Chowder Cup. They defeated the Ice Dragons 12-0 on Friday afternoon at the Foxboro Sports Center.
McKenzie Grabie and Aubryn Monter put on a scoring display in the opening frame as they combined to open up a 5-0 lead for TeamONE. It was a hat trick for Grabie and a pair of goals for Monter in the first.
Grabie was back at it in the second, notching a pair of goals to round out her game-high six points (5G, 1A). Sydney Stoughton also had a pair of goals in the frame, while Sam Anderson, Shelby Buckler and Tenley Merengi were each credited with a score in the second.
Olivia DeLisle kept things clean, posting the shutout in the TeamONE net.
